Lille winger Sofiane Boufal has been monitored by Tottenham Hotspur for over a year now, even before he joined the Northern club from SCO Angers last January. Now, the 2011 Ligue 1 champions have told any interested party, via L’Equipe, that they will have to pay between €25-30 million to sign their top scorer.
After the mess that was Divock Origi’s loan back from Liverpool last season, Lille have no interest in having Boufal return on loan for the next six months, any move would have to be permanent, which could be enough to see the likes of Spurs wait until the summer to make their move.
Lille relied heavily on the Franco-Moroccan during the early part of the season as he scored four of the clubs first five league goals. Boufal missed the start of the Frederic Antonetti era due to suspension, but a goal and an assist in his last two appearances reaffirm his importance to the club.

TWO SUITORS FOR SIGTHORSSON
After arriving for €3.5 million in the summer, Icelandic striker Kolbeinn Sigthorsson hasn failed to make an impact at Nantes this season. In 14 games the former Ajax forward has only scored once.
According to Press Océan both Galatasaray and Genk have shown interest and both clubs have already made contact – they also mention that Newcastle United have enquired about the the player.
SAINT-ETIENNE SET TO WELCOME NEW STRIKER
After the injury to Robert Beric, a striker was always going to be Saint-Etienne’s priority this winter. According to France Bleu, Les Verts are close to sealing a deal for Rosenborg’s Alexander Soderlund. The Norwegian should sign a three-and-a-half year deal and could make his debut against Nantes on the 10th of January.
